International Students

We understand that, in the current evolving landscape, you may have concerns/questions. The office of International Student & Scholar Affairs (ISSA) has provided us some overall advice and guidance on how to best navigate these times.
  • ISSA is proactive in communicating when there are actual changes to immigration policies that will impact F-1 or J-1 students. These updates will be communicated on their Immigration Updates website here.
  • As international travel always carries some risk, ISSA includes travel reminders in their student newsletter before every break advising students how to prepare; the next message for spring break will go out next week.
  • ISSA offers a variety of ways to access their team and advising resources, as they note hereWhile they can provide broad recommendations, as on their website and what we have included above, every student’s case and questions are slightly different and they encourage reaching out and having an individualized conversation, which they prioritize.
